EASY TRICK TO FIX LIMITED INTERNET CONNECTION OR NO INTERNET ACCESS ISSUES IN WINDOWS 10 , 8.1 AND 7

In this post I am going to show you guys how to fix NO INTERNET ACCESS AND LIMITED INTERNET

CONNECTION issues  in Windows 10 , 8.1 and 7 .

When you try to set up or make network connection on windows , you may encounter an error message .

"The connection has limited or no connectivity . You might be unable to access the Internet or some network resources"

First Let’s start with resolving  Windows 7 connectivity :

  • Open your control panel  > Network and sharing center

  • From the left pane , choose manage wireless network . Then delete your network connection .
  • Choose adapter properties , just below manage wireless network .
  • Under this uncheck AVG network filter drive and try to connect to network again . (Also uncheck Hotspot Shield ) It will work even without restarting your system .

If that doesn’t work , try other method :

  • Run Command prompt as Admin
  • Type
     netsh winsock reset

    then hit enter .

  • Restart your system .

Also figure out if your office WI-FI connection requires IP address

Open Control Panel  > Network and Sharing center  > Change Adapter settings

Right click on wireless connection and choose its properties – Then click on both ipv4 .

NEXT IS LIMITED INTERNET CONNECTION OR NO INTERNET CONNECTION ISSUES IN WINDOWS 8.1

Follow these steps :

  • GO to Device manager > Then look for Network adapter .

  • Expand it ( network adapter)

  • Right click on your wireless network adapter and then tap “UPDATE DRIVER SOFTWARE “

  • New window will appear on your screen . In that select “BROWSE MY COMPUTER FOR DRIVER SOFTWARE .”

  • Next select “LET ME PICK FROM A LIST OF DEVICE DRIVERS ON MY COMPUTER .”

  • And click on next button .
  • Choose the ‘Manufacturers drivers’ from the list and click next .

  • Restart your computer , after the process is complete .

If that doesn’t work , try another method :

  • Open your command prompt as Admin
  • Then type

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled

netsh int tcp set globd autotuninglevel=disabled

netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled

ANd hit ENTER.

  • Do check if the settings are disabled type    netsh int tcp show global     and hit Enter .
  • Now reset your computer and check whether the problem is solved or not.

NOW COMES THE WINDOWS 10 ISSUES ON LIMITED CONNECTION OR NO INTERNET ACCESS

Follow these steps :

  • Open Command prompt as Admin .
  • Type the following command
    netsh winsock reset catalog  ( to reset winsock catalog)

    netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log (to resetting ipv4 tcp /ip stack)

  • Reboot the computer .

It removes all persistent static enteries from your Windows 10 system . If you are still facing the issue and your system can’t connect to Internet try few more netsh command .

  • Open your Command prompt (Admin)
  • Type
netsh int tcp set global heuristics disabled 

netsh int tcp set global autotunnglevel=disabled

netsh int tcp set global rss = enabled
  • Check the status by below command and hit Enter.
netsh int tcp show global
  • Restart your system .
